At Dermago, we offer a comprehensive range of cosmetic treatments designed to help you regain vibrant, rejuvenated, and natural-looking skin. Among our most popular services, we provide biostimulators, neuromodulators, and fillers, which are effective solutions for correcting signs of aging and improving the overall appearance of your skin. In this article, we will explore these treatments in detail, as well as the areas where they are commonly used.

Biostimulators: Stimulate Collagen Production

Biostimulators are injectable substances that stimulate the natural production of collagen in the skin, thereby promoting tissue regeneration and improving skin texture. These treatments are ideal for restoring skin firmness and tone, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and replenishing lost volume with age.

Commonly Treated Areas:

  • Face: To diminish forehead wrinkles, fine lines around the eyes (crow's feet), and nasolabial folds.

  • Neck: To tighten loose skin and improve the appearance of wrinkles and creases.

  • Chest: To smooth skin texture and diminish signs of aging.

Neuromodulators: Reduce Dynamic Wrinkles

Neuromodulators, such as Botox, are injections derived from the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. There are several brands of Botox, with the most well-known being type A botulinum toxin. These neuromodulators temporarily relax the muscles responsible for dynamic facial wrinkles. They are used to reduce wrinkles, resulting in a smoother and younger-looking appearance. The effects of Botox are temporary and typically last between 3 and 6 months. After this period, the muscle gradually regains its normal activity, and wrinkles may reappear. Results may vary depending on the patient and the treated area.

Commonly Treated Areas:

  • Forehead: To smooth horizontal wrinkles and reduce the appearance of forehead lines.

  • Glabella (between the eyebrows): To soften vertical lines between the eyebrows, also known as frown lines.

  • Periocular area: To diminish crow's feet and improve the area around the eyes.

Fillers: Restore Volume and Redefine Contours

Fillers are injectable products used to restore lost volume, fill wrinkles, and redefine facial contours. They are particularly effective for increasing lip volume, reshaping cheekbones, and filling in deep wrinkles and creases, resulting in a younger and revitalized appearance.

Commonly Treated Areas:

  • Lips: To increase lip volume and redefine their contour.

  • Cheekbones: To restore lost volume and redefine facial contours.

  • Nasolabial folds: To fill in hollows and reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles.
